Registration for U8 - U17 Travel Soccer Try Outs is now open for the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 season.
To register your child for the upcoming ELCO United travel soccer tryouts, use the online registration system by visiting Got Sports Registration.
Note: We suggest printing two copies of your registration receipt - one for your records and one to bring along with you to tryouts along with your tryout fee.

Tryout Day

Online registration is mandatory before tryouts.

Players must attend 1 of the 2 tryout dates.

Tryouts will be held at ELCO High School on the Turf Field.

A tryout fee of $10.00 will be collected the night of your tryout.

Candidates should arrive 15 minutes early to pay tryout fee and receive a tryout jersey.

Players must wear appropriate athletic clothes including cleats and shin guards. Players must also bring their own ball.

There will be water breaks between drills. Players must bring their own water, etc.

Players will try out in their appropriate age group regardless of the team they are trying to make.

Players will participate in a series of drills, game situations, and small sided team games.

Independent evaluators and coaches will be used in the evaluation process.

Selected players must have or purchase the mandatory ELCO United uniform items.

Mission
The mission of the ELCO United tryout and selection process is to ensure that all players receive a fair opportunity to join a team of their peers that possess a similar skill level and a desire to play soccer competitively.
Team Selection
Participant results will be tallied by the Myerstown Soccer Club Board. Player selection will be determined through a combination of tryout results and coach recommendations. Having previously played for a team does not guarantee a spot for the next season. Accepted players will be notified as soon as possible after the end of tryouts. Selected Players must have or purchase the mandatory ELCO United uniforms items for that season.
