Procedures for reporting game results: (Both home and away)

  • Score reporting is not required for spring soccer
  • Either EMAIL Kevin Weinhold, the League Statitician, including the word “soccer” in the subject line. Or, call the League Statistician by 6:00 PM Sunday.  If you leave a message, the answering machine will record the time of the call.  The preferred method is EMAIL.

  • In your email or voicemail, please leave the following information:
  • 1. Your name

    2. Your club/team name (Myerstown U12B Heat)

    3. The date of your game

    4. The name of the team you played

    5. The game number, as per the schedule

    6. How many goals your team scored

    7. How many goals your opponent scored

  • There is a fine for tardy calls of $3.00; NO CALL fines by the third Thursday in November are $6
  • The scores will be recorded by the league statistician, who will compile the standings and game scores.  The information will be available on our league website at www.lvysl.net

Procedures for postponing or changing a field/game time:

  • FOR POOR WEATHER on DAY OF GAME – Home team shall call visiting coach by 9AM or two hours prior to games starting before 11AM.  Determine at this time an alternate date and time.
  • FOR RESCHEDULING A GAME – Coaches wishing to reschedule any game must contact the opposing coach AT LEAST SEVEN DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED GAME.  Games must be rescheduled no more than two weeks after the original Date.  Otherwise, all games are to be played as scheduled.
  • In all cases above, it is the responsibility of the HOME TEAM COACH to immediately call Larry Freet, the Referee Coordinator, after the conversation between the two coaches to state their intentions.

ALL RESCHEDULED GAMES MUST BE PLAYED BEFORE THE THIRD THURSDAY IN NOVEMBER OR THE GAME WILL BE FORFEITED.

Other notes of interest:

  • Referee fees for 2006 are $38.00 for U14 and $32.00 for U12.  Each team pays ½ of this fee.
  • Make sure fields are properly lined, goals anchored, corner flags in place and nets in good repair and tied down.
  • Clubs shall turn in, at game time, properly filled out lineup sheets, complete with pass numbers and jersey numbers.
  • No spectators are allowed to watch the games from behind the goals (minimum ten yards) or the player’s bench.  All spectators should be seated on the opposite side of the field from the player’s bench
